The City Beautification Subcommittee is committed to improving our community's aesthetic appeal and sustainability through innovative projects, public engagement initiatives, and collaborative efforts with local businesses and residents. We aim to create an inviting environment that fosters pride, promotes well-being, and encourages community involvement, ultimately attracting more businesses to our town.
The PEDC's Beautification grants are reimbursement grants in an amount determined by the Board, up to $9,500.
About the Committee
The subcommittee has 5–7 voting members, two of whom are PEDC board members, all approved by the PEDC Board.
The PEDC Executive Director, Chamber of Commerce Director, and City Manager (or their delegates) serve as non-voting members.
The committee meets monthly at the Pampa EDC Boardroom. Meetings are open to the public, and community input is encouraged.

Program Budget & Funding
The Pampa Beautification Committee is funded annually by the Pampa EDC, and funding may vary with the yearly budget. The PEDC has allocated $300,000 for citywide beautification projects during fiscal year 2026–2027. Applications are accepted in quarterly rounds and/or until all annual funds are spent. Once the annual funding has been spent, applicants are still encouraged to submit projects; the PEDC may allocate additional funds if available.
Important: this is a reimbursement grant
No back-funding. Only new projects approved by both the Committee and the PEDC Board are eligible, and only expenses incurred after the date of approval are reimbursed. Don't start work before you're approved.
Grants are paid after the project is complete and PEDC accepts your documentation. 100% of grant funds must be supported by receipts and documents.
Reimbursement receipts may be submitted only once. No partial submittals or second applications are accepted per location.
Grants start at $1,000 and may not exceed $9,500. Approved amounts may vary at the discretion of the Committee and the PEDC Board.
A project is funded only with approval from both the Committee and the PEDC Board. Committee approval is voted on and recorded in the meeting minutes.
Acceptable proof may include invoices, receipts, written statements with photographs, cancelled checks, and any other back-up documents PEDC may reasonably request.
